wasn't bad, but wasn't impressed for the $$ spent. The brisket sandwich needed more meat, my wife's had almost double what mine had, yes we ordered the same thing, but only because the pulled pork wasn't ready. meh...

Just like grandma's in so many ways. Stopped in on a drive home from the coast last weekend. GREAT service! Super friendly ladies. Good was great, not overly greasy. Loved the adorable toast pinwheels. Only negatives would be that is was just as hot as my grandma's house inside, which it's the most comfortable temperature, and sometimes all that clutter can be a little much. I would definitely oh back here. Great prices too!

Wow, this place was really great! My boyfriend and I checked it out on a Monday morning. We were coming from Portland and heading to the coast. We happened to have the whole place to ourselves, pretty nice. I loved the ambiance of the place. Nice old log hunting cabin feel. They even had pictures of wen it was built and moved. Tiny took care of us. He's a very friendly and entertaining man.:) He told us the story of how the Deep Fried Monster came about with much animation. We did end up ordering that. Unfortunately, the deep fryer ha a few issues, but we still had the omelette minus the deep fried part. Oh my goodness, it was simply amazing! They put all the meat they sell into it. Strange enough, it still tastes light! (I am not a big meat eater usually for too much makes me feel kind of sick). However, the combination of the veggies in it even it out. This thing is REALLY huge! We split it with a bowl of fruit. (to even it out a bit) The watermelon and cantaloupe were so fresh and flavorful. A bit surprising because it seems most of the time in places, the fruit can leave something to be desired. I highly recommend this place. It seems to be a bit of a hidden gem. PLEASE check them out! I want them to stay open so we can visit again.:)

Stop the presses! This place rocks! We were traveling from Portland to Tillamook and some friends recommended the Log Cabin Inn. They said it's the best breakfast you'll ever have. I try to be careful on my eating, but decided this was worth going off plan. Holy cow. Two of my dining partners had the Digger Bomb. Eggs, pulled pork, hash browns, biscuit, etc. Fantastic (I had a bite). I had the standard breakfast, but it was anything but standard. Biscuit, served with the best jam ever, eggs, hash browns, and bacon. Sounds run of the mill, but it wasn't. It was great. Service was friendly and fantastic. Nice log cabin feel with lots of cool trinkets and woodsy decor. LOVE IT!!

Was headed to the coast with friends and we found this place on Yelp and loved it! The staff is friendly and the cook was awesome! A friend and I shared the Deep Fried Monster omelette. It was delicious and stuffed with great pulled pork, kielbasa, sausage, Parmesan cheese and other goodness. It's a ton of food and was worth the price. Yes the omelette was deep fried but it wasn't greasy at all! We are all from Chicago so didn't know what to expect since we are "city slickers" but we were welcomed by the staff and the cook himself who were very excited to bring honest home style cuisine. Note they did not call us city slickers. Worth the stop if you're headed to Tillamook, the coast or Portland!

Holy moly! Making the drive from Portland to Tillamook? You must get breakfast here. Digger and Tiny. These are the names of the owner and the cook. That is interesting enough. After fishing on the Wilson River one cold December morning, I and two buddies sauntered into the Log Cabin Inn for a late lunch. Tiny was the one and only person on hand that day. He cooked up for my buddies something called The Monster - a deep fried three egg omelet battered in beer and tempura, stuffed with ham and BBQ pulled pork. It was amazing. And so is Tiny. He's a ball of fury who loves cooking and entertaining his patrons.

Love dropping in to places like this on our way out to the beach. Right on HWY 6 so you have to.. it's like a "pie place" but we were hungry for a bite. I walked in taking pictures and this cute young gal that worked there piped in with a smile, no flash photography.. she was like that the whole rest of the time as well.. funny and extremely customer service oriented. We ordered their fish and chips of course. No grease, great fat fries, good coleslaw. What's not to like? Folks sitting at the bar, everyone in there looked like they lived a few miles out, lots of senior folks. Comforting.

You won't find prepackaged, frozen burgers here. Or anything else for that matter. The portions are generous, the food is delicious and the staff are super friendly. Next time you are on your way to the beach (or returning home from a beach weekend), stop by and have a burger or a blood Mary. You won't be disappointed!

went there on an early morning motorcycle ride. Loved the place. Staff was friendly, place is very country homey. I had diggers home smoked, pulled pork with hash browns and an egg on top. Absolutely wonderful. The coffee was OK and hot. The serving size is pretty big. I didnt finish mine. The food ain't fancy, but it is well done. All in all, a great experience. I'll be back.

We went for a late breakfast early lunch. Thoroughly enjoyed the vegetarian omelette and the digger bomb is not to be missed if you are a fan of pulled pork. The fruit salad was surprisingly fresh and delicious and service was good. I was pleasantly surprised to find the bar offering Bloody Marys which made the trip all the more enjoyable.

I think you can learn a lot about a place based on how they prepare a hamburger and french fries. We gave them the burger fry test: The hamburger: quarter pound of juicy goodness on a toasted bun. I'm pretty sure the burger wasn't hand formed, but Digger must know how to coax the flavor out of a puck. Minor flaw: the lettuce was like a dog's rawhide ear chew. Digger, find some better lettuce or leave it off. The fries: some of the best fries I've EVER had. Light in color, but still crispy and seasoned perfectly (Lawry's maybe). These fries rival Five Guys'. I'd eat here again if passing through.

On your way to or from Tillamook and need good, hearty food? This is the place. From the road you would have no idea how fantastic of a little place this is - once through the door you are transported to Granny's log cabin out in the woods and the cooking is as good as it gets for BBQ/smoked meats and hearty breakfasts. The pulled pork is so good my mouth is watering just writing about it. We had 5 and a baby at the table and everyone of us enjoyed what we got. A range from the "Big Pancake" (no joke, fresh blueberries and the size of a platter), biscuits & gravy, chicken fried steak (a monster), and the famous digger bomb. The homemade jams were yummy too. The people who run the place are very nice and happy to welcome you to their place - we really enjoyed it; now I know where we'll be driving to for a lazy morning - combine the good drive with a good meal and it made our Saturday.

This restaurant made me feel at home, the staff are warm and welcoming. Breakfast menu is vast and everyone at the table loved their food and the coffee was fresh and piping hot. Omelet was cooked perfectly and vegetables were fresh and delicious. Pancakes were giant and fluffy. The homemade jam was a great touch. Prices are very reasonable. I plan on returning soon to try the pulled pork! I will be recommending this place to friends.
